At our house, we call that shirt thing potatoing. 

An honor to have my work noticed, recognized, and shared by @thebelovedjournal. It’s even more special to be featured alongside photographers who value capturing families just as they are&mdas It’s Piper’s world; we’re just living in it. 

Painting by Shugs @shugs.art Like so many of you, I’ve been caught up in the fullness of this season—of family, of work, of striving to create magic while keeping realities in check. 

Amid it all, I had the honor of delivering a deeply meaningful gallery to the fami We first crossed paths in 2020 at a Halloween event I was photographing. Jen was dressed as a dumpster fire, and her daughter, fittingly, was a firefighter—peak 2020 energy. I loved them instantly, and I think the feeling was mutual, because we Freckles in bloom. 

+ a mix of then and now. Another photographer recently messaged me asking, “how do you find these soulmate clients?” Man, a powerful question. I guess my answer is that it’s mutual. I’m not just there for I received an inquiry from a family living all the way in the Netherlands. They told me they’d be spending just 72 hours in Atlanta and wanted me to take their first family photos. Of all the photographers who could have captured this, for them A boy named Bear.

I don’t keep set hours, but as a mom, I guess that means I’m technically around at all hours… just with a few distractions. While I may not be available at all times, I’ll absolutely get back to you— probably between snack requests, carpool, and the occasional rescue mission. Thank you for your patience.
