my purpose is to capture joy. and joy comes in many forms. joy comes in highs, but it also comes as a feeling of “i’ve waited so long for this.”
I want to work with clients who see our time together with purpose. We are taking this time for a reason: a new chapter, togetherness, to not forget how little your people are before their hands form fully around yours. Picture perfect looks different than it did when we were children.

I’m Tessa. I’m a wife, a mom, a photographer, and a painter. As a photographer, my goal is to capture the spirit of your family—the feelings over the edit. One in which your child made you belly laugh or your newborn wrapped his or her fingers around yours… your heart fluttered then, and I saw it because your eyes welled up and you pursed your lips together. Your significant other kisses you lightly on your head because he or she knows that this moment is hard after so many losses and now you’re holding your future, only a few pounds grown inside of you. Those are the moments that make us feel— unposed, natural moments.
